Monday, June 19, 2023 – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a well-known technical university located in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. Commonly referred to as ITS, it was established on November 10, 1957, and is one of the top engineering universities in Indonesia. The name “Sepuluh Nopember” translates to “November 10th,” which is a significant date in Indonesian history, commemorating the Heroes’ Day. ITS offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with a primary focus on engineering, science, and technology-related fields.
The university aims to produce competent graduates who are well-prepared to contribute to Indonesia’s development and advancements in various fields. Over the years, ITS has earned a reputation for its research and innovation initiatives and has collaborated with both local and international institutions.
ITS’s campus is equipped with modern facilities, laboratories, research centers, and numerous student organizations to promote extracurricular activities and holistic development. The university has been a prominent hub for technological and engineering research in Indonesia, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
During the visit, members were invited to see our innovations such as the Smart Powerwall integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) whose use can be accessed through the Lectro – Smart Powerwall application which is available on the Google Play Store and Appstore. Manufacture of battery packs, Battery Management System, Energy Management System, Solar Panels and Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC).
